Massage therapy license requirements vary from state to state, and the laws are constantly changing. It's our current understanding that, in Mississippi, licenses must be renewed with the Board every 2 years on your license's anniversary.
Twelve massage therapy continuing education hours are required every year for professional re-licensure for a total of 24 hours over the two year span. A maximum of 6 hours out of the 24 can be obtained via home study through Mississippi Board approved programs. The approved courses include (click on any course below for more detail):
